Welcome to ride4avi.com This page was built by our family in honor of our son, Avedis (Avi) Akian , who is affected by a rare, neurodegenerative disease called ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). Avi is a nine year old boy from Summit, NJ who was diagnosed with A-T in January 2009. Avi dreams of growing up to be a chef and riding a blue motorcycle. His parents are committed to increasing awareness about this disease, finding a cure, and helping Avi realize his dreams.
